Hotels: Kitchenettes and kitchens in 100+ Manhattan Hotels.Vacation Apartment Rentals Violate NYC Laws. How do I get from the airport (JFK, LGA, or EWR) to Manhattan?.The good news it will be the size of a normal (probably small) NYC hotel room, but not as tiny as some of the horrible places Ive been in Venice, Dublin or Amsterdam, where the room is the size of the single bed with about a foot of space to walk around it. You would be getting the same sort of room a couple, or 2 friends would get. Unlike in Europe, we dont have "single" rooms here. There's another Italian suit/shirt store on the other side of Madison (Im not talking about the 4 shirts for $99 place on the corner of 53rd, but that's an options for shirts if you need them) There is a place on Madison - somewhere between 50th and 53rd on the west side of the street that sells Vestamenta, etc - and they always seem to have sales. And, it's near Loehmann's so you can hit them at the same time.

My ex-fiance, who only wore Brioni (I know, pretentious, but the IRS then seized all his assets, thus the cheaper suit store), bought suits there, so they cant be that bad. There is also a men's suit place on either 19th or 18th between 5th and 6th that carries Italian suits at discount - it's a huge showroom. Loehmann's on 7th Ave at 17th usually has decent men's suits, thanks to all the fashionable gay men in the neighborhood. The midtown Syms (on east 54th) is closed. It's a great hotel and a good deal for 1 night IF you fly into Newark.

If you're flying into Newark and don't want to spend $200 on a room, Hotwire has a 4* hotel in Jersey City/Hoboken area that's $156/night plus tax that's the W Hoboken (with a tennis icon). This would put you very close to Century 21 and one of the Sym's stores if you want to shop on Sat. has a 4* hotel in the downtown/ Soho are for $190 plus tax with a pool icon that will be the Millenium Hilton in the financial district. While it doesn't require prepayment, I don't think it's cancelable. 14, has a queen cabin at the Yotel for $199 or $228 with tax. I haven't shopped for a suit in a while so don't know if they carry the sort of brands you want but they do have good deals.įor a place to sleep for 1 night this Fri. Sym's is a discount store with 2 locations in Manhattan (one midtown, one downtown) that carries a lot of men's suits. If you're just coming for 2 days, I would try to find something in Manhattan first unless you want to spend a day shopping. Woodbury Commons is a long trek (at least an hour) and costs ~$50 for the bus trip. Google map indicates a 22 minutes ride, but after matches it might be much longer no? if the game last for the average 3 hours, and if we being at the airport 1 hour in advance is enough it looks possible but difficult.

My friends wanted to see the NY giants at 1pm, but our flight is at 5.55pm. But it's too far to be realistic no? Anyone played poker them and confirm me that players ae as awful as they seem to be? Will depends on what my friends want to do, but as one might be tired from the jet lag and the other will probably want to have a quite evening anyway, I'm considering leaving NY to go to Atlantic city, have some fun, play some poker, hav e a cheaper and better hotel room and seeing them again saturday. Sleeping: Couldn't really find a cheap and simple single room (will only spend a few hours to sleep there so don't need my usual 4+ stars, but I want it to be clean and have a decent sleep there) as most hotels seems to offer mostly double rooms, so if you got any great suggestion at less than 200$, go ahead! (I researched quite a lot and didn't find anything). I also made some great purchase in the past at century 21 but didn't get to see the suits there, are there good things for decent prices? And should I rather go to the new or old one? Jersey garden's seems easier as we'll be arriving in Newark, but the shop selection doesn't look so great for suits. I'm willing to do the trip if it's really worth it however. Looks like woodbury is an option with many interresting shops (burberry, armani, hugo boss, prada.) but not so convenient. Shopping: Where to buy some very good suits for a cheap price.

I'll be staying at his place saturday but for some reason can't on friday. I've already been there twice (only in manhattan) and will probably be there again in the future, so sightseeing isn't the #1 priority. One of my friend is working in NY for 2 weeks and I'll go there this w-e to see him and have a cool weekend.
